AI Account Executive - Expansion accounts

We’re looking for a sharp Account Executive to take full ownership of a portfolio of our existing customers — mid-sized to large companies with 100–2000 employees. This role is all about driving growth, maximizing value, and ensuring long-term partnerships with some of our most important accounts. This is not a customer success role. It’s strategic growth, at the highest level, so you need to be sales driven.
You’ll be responsible for the full customer lifecycle: renewals, expansion, anti-churn, and strategic sales. Your success will be measured by Net Revenue Retention (NRR) — not just holding accounts, but actively growing them by helping clients unlock new value through Upsales AI.
This is a role for someone who thrives on building deep, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders — often operating as a sparring partner to CEOs and leadership teams. You’ll help them solve real business problems, guide them through growth challenges, and position yourself as a long-term advisor, not just a vendor.

Who We're Looking For
This isn’t an entry-level role — we’re looking for someone who has already proven they can win at the highest level.
You have at least 5 years of experience in complex software sales, ideally selling to C-level decision-makers in mid-market or enterprise environments. You know how to navigate complex sales cycles, align multiple stakeholders, and close strategic deals. More importantly, you’ve done it consistently — and you have the track record to prove it. You’ve not only hit quota, you’ve beaten it, quarter after quarter.
You bring sharp analytical thinking and intellectual curiosity to every conversation. A master’s degree from a top-tier university is a plus — but raw horsepower and business acumen matter even more. You ask great questions, challenge assumptions, and bring real insight to your customers.
Personality-wise? You’re obsessed with winning, but never at the expense of the team. You take pride in delivering results, but you’re also the kind of person who jumps in to help a teammate close a deal or solve a tough problem. You raise the bar, and bring others with you.
